You're Definitely My Type...of shirt...

Henley Shirt
Let's talk about fashion...I am no expert, but i'm gonna share with you guys something that i feel comfortable wearing and it doesn't make you look sloopy...A Henley Shirt. It's a simple, everyday shirt for men but yet it'll make a man look masculine and stylist. Because of the  warm weather and high humidity here in Malaysia, i don't think it is appropriate to wear your jacket or suit all the time...Well, your can wear you ordinary boring polo T-shirt, but hey, u make your own style. I don't know about u, but this Henley shirt is awesome~!!

A little bit of description.....(WISEGeek on What is Henley Shirt?)

2-6 buttons Henley shirt
The casual collarless Henley shirts which became very popular in the 1990s started out as uniform tops worn by rowing crews in Henley-on-Thames, England. Henley shirts are distinguished by their buttoned placket which contains anywhere from two to six buttons. Many Henley shirts tend to be oversized, which makes them popular among larger men who appreciate their roominess and improved ventilation.

Henley shirts can be made from a variety of materials, but cotton or a polyster-cotton blend is most popular. Traditional Henley shirts could have short, three-quarters or long sleeve lengths, depending on the season.

Me in my Renoma Henley shirt
Henley shirts did fall out of fashion  briefly during the late 1990s and early  2000s, but they have since become popular again, especially among larger men who seek a stylish casual shirt which isn't as form-fitting as a t-shirt and more accessible than a standard polo-style pullover.

So guys, wear it with jeans or khakis short if u want some rugged yet simple fashion. We men don't have to wear something fancy and you can get it easily from any outlet, from Calvin Klien to Renoma....Just make sure wear something you comfortable of, and it'll shine your personality...But just get yourself a various designs and colors of the shirt, or else your girlfriend will say that u always wear the same shirt (i get it everytime...haha..) salute~!!!

Sword Bearers: The Celebration of Love...

Lt. Azim's Wedding at His Home in Sri Kembangan

Hye there…since I’ve started my blog, I've already got one follower..my good friend Wan Fariza…Still waiting for my GF to be my 2nd follower…It’s school holiday…At this time around it is also the wedding season. Love is in the air guys..So, this time I would like to talk about the ceremony of military wedding, the sword bearers.

A Simple yet Honorable Ceremony at Lt. Salsabil's Wedding

Lt. Jimmy's Wedding at Tanah Merah
Sword Bearers is a unique way a Military officer can claim during his/her wedding ceremony. It is a privilege for  the Navy, Army or the Air force Officers to practice this honorable protocol. As a military officer, we can choose how to celebrate our wedding ceremony, either the traditional way, or with full military honors. This protocol/ceremony way of honoring the bride and groom by the arch of the swords. Usually we’ll invite our friends from the service to do the honor as our sword bearer members..It would be more meaningful.

Depending on the services, different protocol is observed, but the concept of the arch is the same. There will a line up of the sword bearer members and the bride and groom will walk between them with the tips meeting crossed from the arch. Other than that, cutting the wedding cake with the sword is another interesting custom. The groom will use his sword to slice the cake together with the bride.

It’s an event full with ceremony that I love to do. To be a sword bearer member to my friend’s wedding, is a way to show my appreciation to our friendship that I cherish. But my dad told me once, “if you do I more than 5 times, you will never get married”…haha..no wonder…~Salute~

Clash of the Titans...

Man Utd vs. Arsenal  Tuesday 0330H
Why am i intrested in this match? Yes, because I am an Arsenal biggest fan...since 1997, since Singapore do Live broadcast on English Premier League (i was in JB that time and Astro didn't exist..yet..)...I remembered the 1st time i saw Dennis Bergkamp on the pitch with his beautiful piece of football, Arsenal's all England line of defenders and the flawless game play conducted by "The Professor" Mr. Arsene Wenger. It's a love at the 1st sight and then i decided to be an Arsenal fan..for life..

Having won their last four away league games, I hope Arsenal will go in to this game in confident mood. Man Utd as their Arch Nemesis, tommorow's game gonna be a good one..at least i hope it will turn out that way...Looking at Man Utd home record, it is quite impressive...but yet, Samir Nasri at his best hopefully will continue his impressive football...With no sign of Varmealan and Fabregas (maybe), Arsenal will continue using Koscielny and Wilshire...with Van Persie and Walcott starting to score goals, i'm hoping Arsenal will be the best team on the pitch~
